Apple Maps has achieved the long-awaited feature!

Ana sayfa / News

In June, Apple Maps launched a beta version for the web, enabling Windows PC users to access Apple’s mapping service via their browsers. Initially offering a very limited experience, the service has now been updated with a significant new feature: the “Look Around” functionality, which allows users to explore streets in 3D, is now available in the web version as well.

“Look Around” is a feature Apple introduced in 2019 with iOS 13 as a competitor to Google Street View. This feature allows users to explore areas on the map through 360-degree panoramic images, giving them a better sense of their surroundings.

However, “Look Around” is currently only available in select regions. Supported countries include the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, EU countries, and a few others. Users can access the feature on Apple Maps by clicking the binoculars icon. Unfortunately, it has yet to be rolled out in Turkey.

The cost of the Lastpass theft determined!

Lastpass, one of the world's most popular password storage plugins, has almost destroyed its users after the hacking incident.

Apple has announced plans to add new languages and more features to the web version of Maps. Users can access the service through beta.maps.apple.com using browsers like Safari, Chrome, Opera, Edge, or Firefox.

That said, the web version is still missing many features and cannot yet match the quality and functionality of Google Maps.
